Poor Mary and Anne Stuart--betraying their father, fighting with each other, snubbing their step-mother--they were a horrible pair!Stephanie A. Unfortunately, it’s rather underrated these days as it’s out of print.

Nonetheless, it’s an excellent read and very well researched in terms of its historical accuracy. Well worth seeking out in a public library or a second hand book store.Roland H.http://s919.photobucket.com/home/RH_009/allalbumsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3354677738876576370.post-34787999358549441172011-03-09T02:47:13.917+00:002011-03-09T02:47:13.917+00:00Great list, thanks. I only know two of them:

Ungrateful Daughters: The Stuart Princesses who stole their father's crown by Maureen Waller which seems like poor history writing to me.

The Mitford Girls by Mary S Lovell. Great fun!Helshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02849907428208235392noreply@blogger.com
