Mortifying mistake on "Australia's Next Top Model"
I really loathe those programmes that pit the contestants against each other, exclude one contestant each week and finally made a big, loud and painfully slow announcement at the very end. It is feels nasty.
But if programmes are going to use that genre and have only two people left standing at the end, at least get the winner's name right.
Gareth Russell is the author of four works of non-fiction, including the critically-acclaimed biography of Queen Catherine Howard, "Young and Damned and Fair", and two novels set in his native Belfast.
What a cock up.
